Discovery of Gold Pieces
Pieces of gold that occur naturally in the ground are called gold nuggets. These are usually found in river banks where they get concentrated due to the flowing rivers. They can be discovered by placer mining process. Gold nuggets are also seen in piles where previously some mining operations would have been done. Sometimes they are left behind by the gold mining dredges.
